Summary of Divchata’s Fundraising Since the Full-Scale Russian Invasion

We are incredibly grateful for a global community that has allowed us to do so much good for Ukraine since Russia’s full-scale, illegal invasion.

With your help, since February 2022 we have:

Raised $4K in April 2022 via a 2-day fundraiser selling donated art (all made by Ukrainian women!) in NYC

Worked in partnership with Lidia Benson to promote her “vinok” art fundraiser, which in total raised over $15K for Ukraine’s army

Crowdsourced $15K+ for donation to Razom for Ukraine, a non-profit focused on unlocking Ukraine’s potential – which today has spent millions on direct aid in Ukraine since the full-scale invasion (and before, since 2014)

Raised $5K in July 2022 for our dear friend Christie Nelson, an LA-based trauma therapist who splits her time between the U.S. and Poland. Christie drives over the Polish border daily, delivering medical supplies, clothing and more to Ukrainians in need. After Christie’s van broke down, she used the money Divchata raised to fix it and deliver Neosporin (which prevents infection and loss of limb in vulnerable communities) to hundreds of Ukrainians

Used our travel to Przemyśl, Poland as an opportunity to crowdsource $2K+ for The Kharkiv and Przemyśl Project (“KHARPP”) a grassroots organization which began its work on the Polish-Ukrainian border in March 2022, supporting refugees as they fled the war. Today, KHARPP works in Przemyśl and East Ukraine to support refugees, repair homes and deliver life-saving aid to Ukrainians

Raised $2.6K to send a surveillance drone to the frontlines of Ukraine

We are committed to growing our impact even more – and we can’t do it without all of you! Glory to Ukraine!
