Here at Divchata, which means “girls” in Ukrainian, we believe nothing is stronger than circles of women.
We are building a diverse community rooted in a shared Ukrainian heritage to spark conversations that span geographies, catalyze meaningful exchanges of ideas and work towards critical social impact.
Project Divchata has three main objectives:
1. Unite Ukrainian girls and women from all over the world
2. Inspire and support each of them
3. Discuss unique social issues that women face and build solutions
Since the full-scale, illegal Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, we have been focusing on spreading awareness about Ukraine to new audiences and sending humanitarian aid to Ukraine. We are incredibly grateful to our community for giving us the opportunity to do this critical work.
